Dating and new sex post divorce

I've been separated (soon to be divorced) for 2 1/2 years after being married for the past 26 years. I've started online dating with pretty mixed results. Some evenings have finished with a good old snog but I'm very wary of the next step. With all the lumps and bumps of my 58 years, I feel wary of anyone new seeing me naked. I'm also extremely nervous of actual sex with someone new after having only slept with one man for so long. Anyone have advice or any confidence-type tips to share?

I met DH when I was 53, and he was 64. I was very aware that my body was not at it's best , and I did dread "doing the deed" because of that. However I told myself that he probably had the same worries ! In the end we just jumped in the deep end and did it. It wasn't perfect, quite awkward in fact , and was pretty disappointed with the whole event. But once we'd got over that first time, it all worked out well as time went on. Good luck to you !
