Referral to DAPP but just informed courses not running.

So in court my ex was ordered to attend a Domestic abuse perpetrators programme and an anger management course. We came to this decision in order to avoid a fact finding trial. The judge was happy that he did the things he did and said he would need to attend these to avoid the fact finding trial and reconvene in June with some feedback from the course.

I’ve just had a letter from Cafcass explaining that the DAPP are currently not running due to covid and they don’t know when they will be up again and to please removed from the order...

What now? He needs to attend a course like this so that he can have contact as currently he has had none since Dec 2019. The judge said he has no insight into the things he has done.

Hi OP, I realise this is an old post but I wondered if you could give an update on what the court decided in your case? The DAPP has been discontinued and I am in a similar position to you where the court has to decide if we need to do a fact finding hearing. I hope things have gone well for you. Thanks

@ItIsLife hi, I too hope this thread is updated as Ik in a similar position. Ive offered contact to start of a dvpp course is done. I wonder what they'll be replacing it with..
