Non-mol without police report

I want to make an application for a non molestation order however met police take time to produce information they hold about you and I have filed a request for disclosure form. Has anyone gone about this without crime reference numbers for the incidents on which they rely? The information can take 30 days to come through!

No need to wait for the police report now if you think you need the protection of a non-molestation order. Make the application now, with a witness statement in support, and just explain that you reported the incidents to the police.
The court will then list a hearing fairly soon, and decide at that stage what happens next - your ex can either accept the non-mol against him, or choose to fight it.
If they fight it, the court will list for a full hearing (like a trial), most likely in several months time, at which stage they will hear full evidence from both of you. Police evidence would be required at that stage, not now (and the court can order it directly themselves anyway.)
Good luck and stay safe.

Sorry, to add - if your ex decided to fight it and a further hearing is listed, the court can still make a non-molestation order on an interim basis, so you have protection in the meantime. They usually do, to be honest.
