Just a quick question that i'm hoping someone has had experience of and knows the answer. I'm in the final stages of divorce and we are selling the house, got an offer yesterday (yay) and now i'm looking for a property.
Have agreed with STBXH that i will get 66% share of sale and he will get 34%. No mortgage. I'm fairly happy with that split.
my question is regarding the other fees, estate agent, solicitor, and whatever crops up during the selling process. Would i have to pay 66% of those fees or are the fees split 50/50? I know i would have to foot the bill for all fees for anything I buy, i'm just thinking about those fees associated with the joint property sale.
Its not a huge sum of money but might just cover some new carpet etc.
