I am starting the process of leaving my partner. We have had a very rocky relationship and there has been a history of emotional and some physical abuse. He is impossible to negotiate or talk with and is quite a manipulative person- seems all charming to the outside world. So I anticipate I have quite a fight ahead of me and will need a good solicitor to fight my corner and so just wanted to see here if anyone has been in a similar position and have any solicitors who successfully helped them in their case.
