My ex changed his name before we were married, had a deed poll to show the registrar, got married and received a marriage certificate with his new name, stating that his name was changed via deed poll. He lost it and sent a copy for the divorce application.
The court won't grant the decree nisi, because the copy he sent is in fact a new deed poll stating he changed his name this year, and therefore must have changed his name back to his old name during our marriage., and are now asking for that change of name deed poll. Ex says that he didn't change his name back at all.
I'm sick of it all, and feel so stuck.
What can I do? I just want to get divorced
