Child Maintenance-I don't understand!

Been separated 2 years now and share care of the kids approx 70:30. I do all the school pick ups even on his days and have to work part time to facilitate this. I also pay for breakfast club childcare on the mornings he has had them stay over.

STBXH has reduced maintenance down to CMS bare minimum (despite being a high earner) and I am wondering do I have to continue to do the school pick ups and pay for his childcare? Or is the maintenance he pays supposed to cover that? Is it you only cover your own costs if 50:50? I feel like I should be able to work on his days

He is meant to cover all costs on his days. The maintenance is calculated with these days in mind. Do not do a thing for him on his days.

Seems you have an unusual arrangement.

If he is only paying you the minimum CMS calculation then you pay everything for your children on the days when you have them and he pays for everything on days when he has them.

Why are you doing his school pickups for him? Why are you paying for breakfast club on his days? Go back to working full time and tell him to take a run and jump, he is taking you for a ride.

On his days/evenings/ nights he needs to pick up from school And If he can’t then he needs to arrange cover and pay for that. Same for breakfast clubs. You shouldn’t be paying for that

Can you go from pt to ft? If you can, do so.
It does sound to me that for a non confrontational life, you have just done what causes less friction. Which is all great for him. And only him. Maybe time to put on those big girl pants.
On his days, he pays for clubs, he arranges pick ups and drop offs.
