Can anyone advise me, please?

We moved to an EU country last September. We all registered as residents here.

Dh lost his job in the EU country.

He has another job in London now. He is there now, working. Intends to come back every weekend if/when lockdown is lifted.

The dcs and I are staying in EU country so as not to disrupt their education.

I think I want a divorce.

Do I start proceedings here in the EU country or contact a UK solicitor?

All our assets are in the UK.

How should I start? Or should I wait a bit?

You'll need a solicitor that specialises in international divorce. If you're British, I'd start with a solicitor there, and then find a local one too when you need it.

Do you want to remain in the country you are living or move ? If you want to move then you will need to apply for relocation etc. Either way get legal advise
