Online divorce financial order/consent order

Hi, I am applying for a divorce online... like now. STBX and I have agreed finance split and childcare and are having this drawn up into an agreement by a solicitor. Do i NEED to tick the box for applying for a financial order or as we have agreed this have we covered this off? Is the tick box on the online form for those who need a judge to DECIDE the financial and custody split?

I'll just add - we have agreed a 50/50 finances and custody split. No real other assets or liabilities to discuss.

The consent needs to be signed off by the judge whatever.

However I cannot remember if it was a yes or no to the box if you are doing it separately!

it is unclear I agree

I'm 99.9 % certain you do tick that box yes

I asked exactly the same. Think the answer is yes.

Yes, tick the box. Gives court notice to expect a financial settlement application before issuing the decree absolute

You would only not check the box if you didn't want a consent order. And you do want one, because you want a line drawn under everything financially.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the replies.
