Stages of Divorce

Hi, Can anyone advise please, How long is the stbx permitted to take to complete form E?
Can anything be done to speed up the Divorce process?
Can anyone recommend a successful solicitor please ( South East Hants) Thank you.

I think up to 16 weeks is considered normal.

My solicitor told me initial consultation that I could be divorced in six months.

Nearly two years in and still waiting for absolute to be granted.

Trouble is the stbex can drag their heels and refuse to co operate, add that to negotiations of financial arrangements etc, solicitors having annual leave expect it to be longer
