Defined benefits pension in divorce

Can anyone tell me how it works if one party on a divorce has a Career average pension?

My husband has saved into a standard work pension for just under 10 years but earns more than twice what I do. I have been part of a final salary pension which (about 2 years ago) changed to career average pension for a bit over 15 years. How do you work out a split on this? Am I as well just saying we ignore pensions as part of the split?

You really need to get CETVs for both pensions before you can make a decision.
