I was told I would get help with my divorce through legal aid due to domestic abuse. Now I've been told because we jointly own a property I have too much capital to qualify. I'm trying to live on benefits at the moment and terrified that costs will spiral out of control. My ex has a personality disorder and is an abusive narcissist so will not want to compromise. Any advice?
