Certificate of entitlement to decree???

Hi,

Finally getting towards the end of a very straight forward divorce (through bury st.endmumds) after what seems like forever....

Today we got our entitlement to decree but I’m not sure what this means??? Is this the nisi? Or is the court date mentioned on the paperwork the day the nisi will be granted and then we have to wait another 6weeks and 1day?? It’s all so confusing!

It means the Judge has approved your divorce and the Nisi will be granted on the date shown. You will then have to wait a further 6 weeks and 1 day.

Are finances agreed?

Great thank you for clearing that up.

There were no finances or children so just a very straight forward divorce.

Just out of curiosity. What happens if finances are not agreed?
