London what to do?

I have separated from my 'D'H in the last 2 weeks and he is taking the children away on the family holiday I had booked tomorrow for a week....

I'm going to be staying in London near Victoria tomorrow (Sunday) night as I thought it would be good to get out of the house.

Does anyone have any good ideas of what I can do on my own? I intend to go to the V and A in the day to see the Mary Quant exhibition but then don't know what to do!

Wander though Kensington Gardens and visit Kensington Palace.

Dinner at FFiona's on Kensington Church street. Decent food and the staff will make you feel fabulous and welcome.

Monday morning, Walk from Victoria to the National Portrait Gallery - see the art if you want, but more importantly have a leisurely breakfast at the restaurant at the top with fabulous views.

Go to the huge Waterstones on Piccadilly and have a long browse and a drink in the bar
