Just thought I’d give some information regarding time frames.
Applied for divorce in April. Application for decree nisi was submitted 21/5
Called today and advised decrees pronouncement date issued yesterday for 20/8
(I need to apply for a consent order)
But if didn’t have consent order would be able to apply for decree absolute 3/10!
All done through a solicitor so not online
Hope this helps x

Hi, just noticed you’re in BSE, me too :)
I’m now going through early stages of separation, so much to think about and haven’t got a clue where to start. Never thought I’d be in this situation (i don’t suppose anyone does when they get married)

My divorce is also through BSE and it has taken ages! Finally got notice that the nisi has been granted. The first two applications were not approved so this has been going on forever.

I’m thankful that my paperwork was accepted first time, and lucky that STBXH hasn’t contested or changed anything (🤞🏻 For the consent order!)

@Itsallchange, does that mean you had to wait two months from them 'processing ' nisi to the response being made by Judge? I am confused. I figure from the email of processing times that they have now processed my Nisi in last few days but I guess I'm waiting for a Judge to look at it. I think they don't give times for that I think. Any tips. Mine should be very straight forward but not sure if that makes it quicker. Any advice from anyone, grateful. Thanks
