As the title says - I want to move house by September for DC to start at a new school. One DC has additional needs, and the new school will meet them well. It would mean moving house, before any financial settlement etc, mid-divorce which I am only just starting now. I would ideally sell the current house (in my name but we are married) and buy a new one.
Can I do that? Do I just have to guess at the new budget for the house I buy? I'm hoping to get more like 60/40 and 50/50 because the DC will live with me and we need a house where the eldest can have space because of his additional needs.
If not, I am assuming that I can rent a house and move, even though that will be expensive!
