I'm about to have my 3rd fdr hearing to decide what happens to my house. My ex wants it sold asap, and his parents also want this from a loan they made when we got married which equates to an 20% share of the sale. Basically, it would result in a 72K 3-way split and my budget for a mortgage is 136k. It's very complicated but in short, I can't afford to move anywhere local and would have to leave my city because my budget after sale would be too small. He's living with girlfriend and they have income of 100k, mine is 21k and I'm living hand to mouth. He doesn't actually give me child maintenance he uses a sum of money to discharge the mortgage and I pay the rest. But I'm literally struggling to live by the end of the month. Unfortunately, I can't get the bank to transfer the mortgage to me becuase I don't earn enough. We have 2 children 10 and 4, he has them every other weekend but refuses to have them any of the holidays. I work 20 hours per week and sort all childcare.
He's been very abusive emotionally for the last 3 years since we split in his attempts to get me out the house. My mind has been all over the place with worry about what will be the final outcome.
Anybody had to go through this in similar circumstances could share the outcome??
