Title sums it up. I am representing myself and have to file form E with court and also with exH's solicitor next week. I've printed out a year's worth of bank statements and everything else that I read you were supposed to do, and now I've just realised if I have to file it with the court, do I just file the Form E, or all the paperwork as well? And if so, where on earth do you go to get about 200 pages photocopied?

Confused

Hello

I am just doing the same but have legal aid so have solicitor. We exchange with the other side first but maybe you don't have to do that. Do you mind me asking why you have 200 copies what of the bank statements if so just send the originals

Good luck! X

Probably not 200 pages, it just feels like it! But what I can’t work out is do I send the form E and copies of all the financial evidence to the court and exh’s solicitor?

All of my paperwork went with the form E - it was a huge bundle, approx 1000 pages, but it's what they asked for.

Can you print them at work? If not, maybe the Post Office? Or if you know anyone with a printer, ask them?

I think I’m going to take them to a copy shop and just get everything copied twice so one for court, one for me and one for exh’s solicitor. It feels very scary all of a sudden. Confused

please don't expect much for the first hearing research on here and you will get an idea that's what I did

Ex is now claiming via his solicitor that he can’t get the paperwork done in time Hmm and they’re applying to have the date of the FDA changed. Manipulative to the last. Now I need to work out if I file this stuff when it’s due, or not?

I guess you hand yours in on time? Otherwise you've wasted a lot of your time and will have to re-copy later bank statements etc?
The court might refuse his extension?

Sorry I'm not more help, but hopefully I've bumped this so you'll get so more knowledgable help soon!

I’m going to call the court and ask tomorrow. I’ve spent SO much time on this and also psyched myself up. It feels like deliberate game playing on his part. Will report back for anyone else in the same position.
