But on the plus point my life hasn't been this happy for a long long time.

Ha! I was the same - however dreadful the divorce was it was better than being married to him! I avoided court in the hope that my ex might learn to compromise but it was a waste of time (and money in solicitors fees that could have been spent on preparing for court). So press ahead and good luck!

Yep batshit that does sound exactly what is happening to me....it is bloody worth it to be shot if the though right!
