Ex said we've been divorced for 6 weeks but I have no paperwork

I've been reliably informed that we were divorced early November and he has paperwork. My solicitor said that as he is the pursuer he will have the extract and I should ask him to email me a copy. Surely both parties would receive confirmation? I did ask him but haven't had a reply. Has anyone been in this situation? It doesn't seem right...

You surely would have received some correspondence from the court at some point through the divorce process, even if you haven’t received the absolute. Easiest way to check would be to phone the courts in case anything’s been lost in post but you should also receive a letter

Which court are you with Jumbly ? Are they just incredibly slow ?

If you have a solicitor named on your case the paperwork will go out to them, not you.

Phone the court.
