Low income Unable to find accomodation

I am getting increasingly desperate as my relationship has broken down
and there's no letting agencies that will consider me with a guarantor. I have also applied to the Council but there is little available. I have 2 dependent children and I feel I have let them down.

They want to live with me, not their father and are of the age where their wishes will be taken into account. Has anyone else been in this position?

I'm in the 'family' home but he owns it and we're not married.

Have you got any family you can stay with until you sort a place of your own? It will be tough, but you'll be able to do it with courage and determination xx

A lot has changed in a week, I found a property nearby which accepts benefits. I've been offered a second job too so will be in a better position and not so reliant on Universal Credits.
