Can I take money from joint savings

Ok, we have agreed financial settlement between us and it’s bren drawn up in a court order which we have signed and it got sent off to the courts last week.

Today I decided to withdraw 3k out of the joint savings and put it into my own account. Am I in my rights to do this? Technically it’s still joint money as the court hasn’t agreed the order yet.

I did it in anger as I’m fed up of him living a lavish lifestyle with his gf, he’s just about to jet off to New York for a few days, second holiday in 3 months Angry

How is he funding his holidays?

Credit card which he pays back with joint money

If he’s using joint funds, I’m not sure he can complain if you do the same?!

If your name is on that account then you have as much right to use it as he does.

Joint accounts are owned by both Parties regardless of who pays in what. Either can take money out of a Joint account.
