Please could anyone share their experience of the time between sending the consent order off to East Midlands family court and receiving it back approved? Thank you

I don’t have experience but I wouldn’t hold your breath. Some parts of the Courts service are running at about 8 weeks. So that’s 8 weeks before anyone sends it to a Judge and another 8 weeks before that look at it and send it back to you.

Sorry, I know that’s no time good news, it could be shorter though.

The Court Service is going through huge reforms which at the moment seem to be equating to huge delays.

I think at the moment they’re trying to pull all the stops out in the Divorce Centres to bring down the delays. You may be lucky and get it earlier Smile
