Hey,

I have my first appointment next week! I'm so stressed about it..

Does the judge ask you questions? Or do they do all the talking?

Also I was a little late sending one of the forms so I hope I don't get into trouble for that! Sad The whole thing is over-whelming! Can't wait for it to be over.

Ideally you and ex will have exchanged your Form E. The first appointment known as FDA (First Directions Appointment) is the opportunity for both to ask questions about the From E or anything else they consider relevant. Judge will decide what questions should be answered and direct both parties as to what documents they should provide.

Nothing to be stressed about.

I've sent the form E, but he hasn't! Every time I ask him about it he ignores the question..he doesn't take it seriously!

Okay, thank you 😊 x

he doesn't take it seriously!

That could go against him. My ex ignored court order for disclosure and Judge at Final Hearing was not impressed.

Yeah I would think so! And he's flying from the states and getting here on the day of the hearing! I'm like.. err.. anyway I don't need to worry about that. As long as I do everything correctly it's fine.

Ahh men Hmm

Mine refused to fly in from the UAE said it was not important enough till the questionnaires were completed.

The judge took a view that Divorce is serious and told his barrister that he better attend the next one wagging his finger

EH attended the next one .....

Also, it doesn't specify what I need to bring to court. What did you all take with you?
