What to do with wedding dress?

Hi all

What should I do with wedding dress? Husbands left me and our baby girl and am in the process of sorting our new house out so sorting out all of our things.

I'm thinking I could donate it to a local charity? Other option is to try and sell it so I use the funds for my daughters bedroom furniture in our new house together.

I'd probably realistically get 200-300 for it, it cost me 1000 but there are stains on the underskirt.

What have you done with yours?

Xx

Burn it! Why would you inflict marriage on anyone else!

Justmuddlingalong · 30/09/2018 10:20

I chopped mine up for a friend to use as a Halloween costume.

I took mine to a charity shop

There is this charity Cherished Gowns who turn donated wedding dresses into outfits for babies who are stillborn or die shortly after birth.

Goldilocks3Bears · 04/10/2018 23:07

I was going to suggest cherished gowns or similar or the charity shop.

Advertise it on fb
“ Worn once by mistake”
