50/50 where are children registered to live

Hello

I'm going through a divorce and have a 50/50 agreement with my ex for our son. Our son is currently registered as living at my ex's house (old family home) which I was forced to move out of upon separation into rented. Since then I've worked my ar*e off and gotten my own house.

I'd like to register my son here (prior to separation I managed all post and multiple hospital appointments for our son) but stbe has refused. I claimed the child benefit when our son was born and it goes into a joint account we have for our son but he wants me to transfer the claim to be in his name. We also need to claim DLA for our son but he's adamant he should do this, not me. I feel his control issues are trying to push me out of my parental responsibilities and things I've always done for my son. My solicitor says I should just go ahead and change it but I don't want to look undermining.

Has anyone experienced this, or got any thoughts?
Thanks.

Listen to your solicitor, they have a million times more understanding of your case than us randoms!
