Mobile phone contact with absent father

Hi, I’ve just ordered a mobile phone so the DC can have contact with their father a few times a week as well as regular eow. My stbxh has asked me if “I’m right in the head” for doing so.
The reason behind this is because he was calling the elder child and asking him how his sister is health wise - she has quite a few very serious medical conditions - I feel it is unfair to ask a child this and it was putting him under pressure and he actually doesn’t know the answer anyway. Stbxh was also complaining that he was struggling to get through to the kids Mobile’s.
I think any issues regarding health should be just parental not involving the kids.
Has anyone else bought a mobile for their kids to maintain contact with their father? Is it a good idea? I was hoping that it would take the pressure off the kids and give them a set routine of contact with their father - it’s very clear when it’s going to be on and doesn’t infringe on family time when we’re busy.

Hello everybody
Just joined the forum and would need some input on my matter. Decree absolute was granted in feb 18, and my ex has appealed against final judgement. Appeal pending I am not allowed to market or sell the FMH till the appeal hearing in July! My question is that the ex is currently attempting to get someone to appraise the property for rental! The court order states clearly that the FMH will have to be sold in the open market ... why do you think he is doing that? Can he sell his 15% share without my knowledge or signature?

Gio13 You’re more likely to get a response if you start your own thread.

I don’t think anyone here can tell you what his game is. If you’re both named on the deeds, then your ex will not be able to sell the house without your consent.
