Any funny divorce stories to cheer me up?

Been reading and taking on board lots of helpful info and shared experiences on this board and it’s been really insightful. Sometimes life can seem pretty bleak and tough.

I thought it would be cheering and inspiring to hear any funny anecdotes from fabulous divorcees/ newly single ladies who have emerged as beautiful and free butterflies.

As I have been with stbxh since I was 14 I am like a teenager trapped in the body of a 35 year old and have literally not been alone or dated before... I have already disgraced myself clambering all over a burly 27 year old in a very public way before legging it like Cinderella and leaving him in a strip club with his weeks wages in his pocket!! I would love a fun fling but don’t know where to start!!
Plus I’ve essentially stuffed my career despite being highly educate I earn less than a 21 year old graduate and can’t even afford
the tummy tuck and boob job id need to contemplate naked fun 😂

Not been on MN much before - what happened with daily mail do they do their research here and use it to write horrible anti-feminist/anti humanitarian rot?

I think you need to add somethibg to your post saying absolutely do not give permission to share the stirues in the press.

Also as you know divorce is not so funny. Like asking for humorous funeral stories.

I’ve also got nothing funny to add. It’s the single most heartbreaking event of my entire life.

Oh sorry was not meaning to cause offence I know it’s not a funny process either I just wondered if anyone had emerged through the other side and could giggle at anything during or after the process. Badly worded I suppose but feel I’m going through a personal transformation as well
As carving up my assets and disentangling my life from a person I care deeply for and have been with over 20 years. Obviously I missed the mark with a humorous tone.
I have found it really hepful being on and reading posts here but sometimes it does feel bleak but I also feel hope and lightness at other times
