Views/advice on a money issue when starting off a divorce

I have worked all my life but am currently unemployed. At the moment I manage all the family money. There are lots of assets. Equity, pension etc. However on a monthly living basis there is never enough for everyone’s desires (3 teens). I have come to rely on our extensive overdraft facility every month. (I know it’s a really crap way to borrow, but it’s hard to get out of. There is so much going on constantly) I can’t see a way to start a much needed divorce. Im sort of penniless at same time as having a big family home. I’m thinking of doing a mortgage holiday to pay off the overdraft and start to stash something away for solicitor/mediation fees. I can’t see another way. Or am I shooting myself in the foot if I end up with the mortgage. I don’t know how to start, as I have nothing that isn’t eaten up each month and overdraft fees are expensive too. What do you think?
