When do children not get taken into account in divorce settlement

We are divorcing and have 1 child at University and twins starting in September. Will they figure in our divorce settlement? or when they turn 18 (August) do they not figure financially. They will mainly be living with me when they are back in holidays.

You could see if you could get written into a consent order that any child maintenance they receive from their father whilst at uni gets split and a third automatically comes to you to cover holidays and the increase in bills. Or you can do what i will have to do as did my dss mum and ask them to pay keep whilst at home.

I had 3 dependant children when I divorced aged 15 16 and 17 and they weren't factored in at all in the settlement which was 50/50 the judge said the children could live where they wanted and that was why he did 50/50
