After reading about it on here, i filmed stbExH whilst I was asking him something perfectly politely. When he was completely unreasonable I had to show that i was filming, at which point he assaulted me on camera.
This is the first assault that I can actually report, and it never would have occurred to me to film without reading it on here. I actually told the policeman that I read it on here. I don't think he'd heard of mumsnet though.

What's happening now? Was he arrested?

I'm giving a statement, I am not sure if they will arrest him.

Decree nisi was a Christmas gift from the court, and we're going to court again for finances in the new year, he refuses to leave the house until i hand over half the equity. We live separately under the same roof. It's stressful. I'm not with him and haven't been since the summer.
