Bank loan for anticipated divorce costs?

Hello all,
I'm looking at how much a divorce could cost and wondering if people take out loans for it? Has anyone done that? How do the solicitors usually want to be paid? ( Guessing not on a credit card?)

you can get loans for solicitors' costs for divorce. My solicitor recommended some companies who do this.

(Yes, you normally have to pay cash upfront/on account before the solicitor will advise you).
