How much money do you nee to run a house?

Just that really. How much do you spend monthly, who much do you need to rent, pay bills etc? Looked and could rent where i am in the SW for around 900 per month at the cheapest. Sounds stupid but I've no idea how much I'd need per month to support me snd 2 kids. I don't work either.

Do you have access to your bank today as you could work out typical montly expenditure?

Money saving expert has lots of posts where people post their expenses so that night be a start.

Everyone's budget is so different so really not sure if there is an average.For example some people have big food spends whilst others live frugally..others believe sky is essential whereas it's not for others.
