Having a bit of a night mare with my divorce application. Cannot afford a solicitor so have done the forms myself.
They have been returned to me twice, once as I made a mistake on part 8 which I sorted, and then again because my marriage certificate is in Thai that they needed a certified translation or a statement of truth. Well I had already sent a certified translation ( certified at thai embassy) a copy, and then also included a statement of truth.
I got a letter back, that pointed out the same errors which seemed odd and had my check attached, but they have returned none of the other documents. I called them and they said I'd need to write with a list of whats missing, and they will try and find them?!
Do they regularly lose documents? If they cannot find, am in a bit of difficulty as will need to go to thailand to get a new one...
