Just that. The gas lighting and making her doubt herself is all very familiar. The trying so hard but nothing you do is good enough. I know it's a soap but it's brilliant they are exploring ea and rape within a marriage (he raped her other night )

Its so obvious when you are looking from the outside. Why do we never realise when we are in an Emotional abusive relationship ? Do the men / women know they are doing it or is it a personality trait ?????
