Final financial hearing coming up - ex has lied doesn't it matter ?

Basically I'm getting everything I asked for, the house and 50% of his pension. But he has lied and said he's living at his mothers which he is not. I have documented evidence he's living with another woman from his own solicitor.... does this matter ?

Anyone know ?

I doubt very much it would unless it's going to change the outcome of your settlement hugely
Have you fully agreed a settlement your happy with and signed to agree? Or when you say financial hearing do u mean it is a final contested hearing were details are still to be investigated?
I found it didn't matter my ex hid money, stole lied nothing made s difference. He even lied on form e lied on court order put incorrect facts to say he was paying our mortgage only for me to find later on he wasn't he used capital already paid as an overpayment and im now ££££ down on my settlement the solicitor doesn't seem to think noubt of it nor court it's not how you think, you think like me if you've got proof of his lies it will be looked at but fact is it just isn't
It sounds as though you've settled though to quote figures?

Oh to add my ex said he was at dm house however he had lush apartment!
Good luck to you though it's the worst thing anyone can go through a shitty divorce and I wouldn't wish it on anyone or the bill for it!

It's all signed off between me and him, you know though when you've just got this nagging feeling though that when you get into court he's going to pull the rug out ? 4 years this has been dragging on. I can't quite shake the feeling something could still go wrong

Can I ask why your going to court if you've agreed & signed?
If you've agreed last min & have to still attend then it will be formality and judge will just stamp it.
I know how you feel 💐 I thought mine was bad 2 years it's tough isn't it. So have you signed and agreed a convent order?

Consent order rather!!!

Yeah the consent order had to be drawn up by a solicitor. We've agreed everything including me paying him £2,000 to fuck off and let us have the house but he's been chasing me for the money. I'm not paying it until the court seals it. Part of the order was that he paid me £500 that he'd owed in child support for 2 years. The twat has paid it in Australian dollars so I can't access it but he wants a medal for that

Well if you've got signed consent order it's done! You wouldn't believe how hard it Is to even consider getting it overturned.
My ex hasn't done most of what he agreed legally to do in consent order and could be punished for it. However for me to challenge it I have to pay again to get him in court and pay solicitor and I can't iv got huge debt just securing my share of house and solicitors bills have killed me so he gets away with it.

So if u have order he can't pull rug but he can just not do certain things and it's then up to you to challenge, but I wudnt give him money until your happy.

Why are you going back to court then? If it's ok to ask as I can't see why if your agreed?

It's not been sealed the court though hence that's what we are back in for.
Until it's done I don't really believe it's over if that makes sense.
I'm tempted to tell him to whistle for his £2000 he owed me thousands in other stuff

Definitely happier though, I just wish I didn't have kids with him tbh, every opportunity he gets he causes mayhem with them, just trying to remove all opportunities if that makes sense

Ahhh right no I totally understand iv 2 dc's and it makes it so hard to grisly get them gone out your life, my ex used kids to get to me threats etc...
Tbh if I were u Id tell him to whistle for his money if he wanted to chase you it'll cost him to do so & he may think twice
