Online divorce companies

Hi - just after some feedback on the various online divorce companies. My divorce should be relatively straightforward as we each own 1 property in our own name and won't be sharing any finances after the divorce. There is one child involved but we will share custody 50/50 as I hope to live locally. The divorce has been a long time coming and we virtually live separate lives so it will just be a legal formality but I'd like to get it sorted in the cheapest way possible!

I was in a similiar situation to you although we had agreed a separation agreement too (which makes things a lot easier up here in Scotland). I used myscottishdivorce.co.uk - very good, quick service, cost £900 from what I remember.

For simple divorces DIY or online divorce are good options if you want to reduce fee's and save your money for the more important things during your divorce.

The law in England & Wales is different to the legal system in Scotland.

So it will depend on where you live.

DivorceBox.com is a English provider who use legally qualified professionals, unlike some of the others where you get a 'case manager', so its worth doing a bit of research first. To make sure you know what you are getting for your fee.
