Need to move out, but where to start?!

Hi, so after years of talking about breaking up on&off, we've finally agreed I should move out with our 2 kids. I'm only working p/t, I don't earn much, and I don't know where to start. I really want to move out ASAP as this has dragged on for long enough, also I want to be in another place ideally by September when kids start school. Am I entitled to housing association? Where do I start? How do I do it all with hardly any money? Thanks

Firstly, do you rent or home own? What are YOU moving out with the kids nad lwaving HIM in THEIR home? If its cos you can't afford the rent, you'll likely fet some HB depending on your salary and he should be helping.

If you go into your local HA office you can register as long as you don't own a property but priority will vary from each one.

Once you move, make sure you claim for all the tax credits etc you can but also that he contributes a reasonable amount to the kids
