Now separating and teenage dds blaming me

that's pretty much it. Feel so sad. Understand future seemingly bleak but only way is up.

Oh starsandstripes Im sorry. My children were mostly younger when I separated. Not much help I'm afraid. Hopefully someone with useful advice will be along. Bumping for you.

Thanks ffon. I understand that they are feeling a mix of emotions - some relief that a decision has been made. I want to take it one day at a time to give us all a chance to feel it is the right decision; I don't anyone to feel cornered. I wonder what are the experience of others when older teenagers take sides.

When I was a teenager I blamed both parents for splitting, even though it was my dad who cheated. I was awful. I think the best thing to do is be patient and let them work through their anger. They are adjusting to a big change in their lives. You'll all come out the other end. I get on really well with both parents now and am ashamed of how selfish I was.
