We are almost there after 2 1/2 years.
He's quibbling over the funds from
Him to me being 28 days not 21 days. Yeah whatever.

And he wants to see my mortgage offer. Why is it any of his business?
It isn't. It's my mortgage and we are having a clean break divorce.

I can tell him to F off can't I?

Have you done form E etc?

Dungandbother · 21/01/2016 21:06

Actually no, not full disclosure. Just the basic one of stated assets.

Basically, from an similarly point of view, we agreed no pension sharing, no previous property sharing and no business sharing.

So yes that sounds bad but I've come out on top and about 70% of assets.

In that we're not arguing. But he's nitpicking over stupid tiny details.

My mum might have bought out my house. Surely he is being removed from liability therefore none of his beeswax.

He might just be checking that he really has been bought out of any responsibility. His solicitor may have suggested he checks that there are sufficient funds in place and that his name is off any paperwork.

I am sure MNers would suggest something similar if he was buying you out.

I am sure YANBU to be sceptical, just maybe this is one where your spidey senses are doing overtime.

Without full disclosure how do you know you are getting 70% of assets?

He or you, for that matter could be hiding all sorts.
