7 week old baby and I've just ended the relationship advice please!

Basically we been together for 2 years we don't live together I also have a 10 year old from another relationship, I ended things yesterday . The father of the baby is a Christian and he said if God asked him to kill the baby he would , to me that's just sick and I've ended things I just feel so guilty now

I'm thinking should I even let him see the baby .

Well done, that's a very brave decision & I applaud you to have the strength to leave at such a time.

The bottom line is, will your baby be safe with him? Not sure if you are under midwife or HV care (its been 6 years since I had a baby) but tell them that comment about killing your baby as you may need it to be officially logged somewhere if he insists on contact in the future.

Don't feel guilty, you can end a relationship whenever you like on whatever grounds are reasonable to you. Was it just this comment that made you split or have there been other things in the past that made you uncomfortable as well?

How has he reacted to your decision yesterday?

He took it ok and understands why I ended it and yea it was what he said that made me end it , guess I'm just stupid !

upheaval hormones trauma yada yada but he sounds utterly mad.
And I say that a Christian.

I left with a 6 week old. Different reasons but still a safety concern. You're not mad. Make sure you discuss it with your HV so there's a record showing why there mustn't be unsupervised contact.

What possible conversation were you having that led him to say that? This all sounds very odd
