A couple of random questions about being separated..

when separated - and if you work - is your husband entitled to half of what you earn? `( as you are with him..?) when it comes to working out the financial settlement..

If he has left the house and is moving in elsewhere, is he entitled to get household stuff out of it....(is it just up to what you want to agree between yourselves)

I'm in Scotland so it might be slightly different where you are, but when I split with STBXH interim maintenance was agreed based on need - not 50/50. So if you both have incomes that can support you then there wouldn't be equalisation. My ex had no income and he still didn't get half my income.

Regarding household stuff because my ex was abusive he wasn't allowed to enter the house to get stuff but we made an arrangement for him to come when I wasn't there and I had trusted people on my side there overseeing everything. If you are joint owners or tenants and there is no court order in place then I don't think you can stop him - probably better to be reasonable so you can exert enough control to make it happen in a way you are comfortable with.
