We've hit a grim patch in an already difficult breakup. Going down the separation rather than divorce route, been to mediation and agreed division of assets (house is being sold) and childcare arrangements. As we're both going into rented the plan was to wait till house was sold before going our separate ways.
However, I've since discovered (through a third party, he hasn't told me anything) that he has already arranged a rental and gets the keys next week. The house has yet to sell so I'm stuck here until it does (which was his plan all along I suspect).
So when he moves out how does it work with access? Is he able to just come and go as he chooses since he owns the house too (in which case I'm worried about him taking all the furniture etc which he might if I'm not there)? When does child maintenance kick in? This hasn't been discussed at all, I've been kept completely in the dark (and based on something that was said at our last mediation I think the mediator knew he'd found a place to rent too).
We havn't told the DC yet. I'm worried about having to stay in the house with half the furniture gone and dealing with the fall out with the kids (I'm primary carer).
Any advice for me please?
