Financial arrangements after one year marriage

I married a divorcee last year and I now discover he has been having an affair.
While he was encumbered by trying to sell his property, which was in negative equity and supporting his daughter he was unable to make anything but a very modest contribution to our living expenses while we were together. ( half the food bill!)
The flat is mine so and I have continued to pay the mortgage, utilities, etc.
He sold his flat and now is renting since I asked him to leave following the affair.
There is no question of reconciliation following such a betrayal.
Question: does he have any claim on my property or any other assets which were mine before the marriage?

Even if he had been paying half the mortgage affect twelve months any claim would have been tiny. A clean break is more likely just ensure you have lots of evidence re bills you have paid
