My hubbie is in denial about our divorce. He won't sign the papers which have been sent to the court. I am divorcing him for his unreasonable behaviour. what happens next , my solicitor is currently on holiday. we are still living together in the same house with our boys which is really awful

Legal matters might be good? But I think you have to wait a certain amount of time, until he has missed the deadline for signing and returning. Then you can get the papers 'served' on him, which means you'll have evidence that he's got them. You can either go very cheap through the court (but can take ages), or pay a process server to do it. I arranged a process server through my solicitor, cost about £120 and only took a couple of days.

Good luck to you, I've been through similar (although mine ripped up the papers rather than refusing to sign them!)

My local court (I am in the same situation!) will send a bailiff to the address for approx £130. They will personally serve the papers OR if your exh will not take them physically it will be posted by the bailiff and you can proceed with the divorce as if they have agreed.
