Ex husbands new baby

Hi all

I'm feeling really rubbish today, my ex husbands girlfriend had their baby yesterday. We've only been separated for 18 months and divorced for 5. Did anyone else experience their ex moving on so quickly, is there light at the end of the tunnel? I'm also worried about our son who's only 5 as his Dad won't have him this weekend as its too close to the birth, but I think he should be included as soon as possible.

Hoping a glass of wine tonight will cheer me up!

I wouldn't be able to cope so good on ya & have that glass of wine! I deffo think your son should have been included sooner! It will feel rubbish for a while! My ex bf came to my local 2 weeks after we broke up with new GF & she was stunning! It took a while to get over it but if felt great when I met my current fiancé & had our son!...now he doesn't even enter my thoughts! One day when you least expect it you will meet that someone too ;-)

You aren't alone my exH had a new GF within 4 months of us separating and was living with her and engaged within the year, they now have a house together, meanwhile I'm still trying to rebuild my life after years of a shitty marriage whilst raising our dc that he sees for 6 hours a week!!
