Does anyone know when the legal aid changes are coming in to effect?, I am planning on divorcing my husband who has left me for someone else and dont know what to do at all.
Im still in shock about it but need to protect me and my son as he is being an arse not just with me but my son too.

Husband only wants to see son for minimum time 3 * 1 hours so 3 hours a week as he isnt prepared to stop going racing with his new girlfriend at the weekend. This isnt enough for my son but i cant make husband have him for longer so i would like it in an agreement when he can see him as he always changes or swops around to suit him.

Im also worried because my mum is in ill health and owns her house which a third of it would come to me if the worst happened.

Can anyone tell me what rights he would have on this inheritance if we werent divorced just separated and not legally separated?

In divorce proceedings could he ask to be entitled to half my share of the inheritance or would it not be considered?

Legal Aid will be withdrawn for your type of case in October.

You really need to talk to a lawyer about the inheritance - my understanding is that if you are still married any money and assets you have will go into the general pot of assets held by each of you and shared according to the arrangement that you agree or the court dictates. So even if you separate any property you come into will form part of the marital assets to be shared between you. So you need to get a divorce.
