Pre-diabetes - what are your symptoms?

Can you let me know if you have any symptoms and what they are please?

I recently found out I was pre-diabetic. Previously I sometimes felt dizzy/extremely tired for a few seconds a few times a day and hot at night - I put this down to the menopause. I'm addressing my diet, exercise and sleep. I think the dizzy spells haven't been so severe and I've not been hot at night (but it went cooler here a while back). Had a bit of a lapse a couple of weeks ago (not a major one) as we were a way, but back on diet last week - also added another couple of exercise classes in. However, feeling really hot at night again (it's gone a bit warmer again), very tired in myself but not needing extra sleep, a bit of a headache today.

Just trying to work out if it's the lapse or being warmer, extra exercise (and not pre-diabetes symptoms). Also, interested to know what symptoms others have so I can keep on eye on things over the years in terms of what I need to watch out for.

None at all, other than feeling rubbish if I eat anything with a lot of sugar in it - occasional palpitations afterwards and I feel queasy. I also feel bloated if I eat too many carbs, but I don't think that is unusual for anyone really.

for me I woke up sweating and I mean drenched- every night for months. I was also exhausted and once I finished my day at work I would be good for nothing except falling asleep on the sofa. It was like a tiredness I couldn’t control.

Extreme tiredness after a heavy meal, although pregnancy and a newborn made it difficult to identify that for a while. Recurring fungal infection on one foot that flared with increased sugar consumption. A buzzy, sick feeling in my head after eating too much sugar.
