Took DD to get a urine sample done as she was saying it hurt her to wee so wondered if she had cystitis. Got call back to say test showed glucose present in urine but no infection. They want to do blood tests. Is this diabetes? I'm terrified. She has no other symptoms, no increase of thirst, hunger or fatigue.
Anyone with any experience of this? She had had a fairly sugary breakfast a couple of hours prior to the test, not sure if that is relevant though......
