Need to lower my hba1c and lose weight

This feels like a stupid question but I don’t know where I’m going wrong. I take 1mg of ozempic weekly and its brought my hba1c down to 67 but the weight loss feels really slow. Ive more than halved my calories and am now counting calories and lowering carbs and don’t know what the weight isn’t falling off like it is with others. (I’ve lost 7lbs but need to lose 150 in total!) I’ve set myself an interim goal of 50lbs.

How do I lower my hba1c and lose weight?

Are you accurately weighing portions and counting everything?
I remember reading a thread where someone was at their relatives for lunch. The relative was bustling around preparing lunch then, on putting the plates down, commented about how she couldn’t understand why she was bigger than the op when she didn’t eat any more than her. However, she wasn’t taking into account that with tasting the ham, eating the slice of bread, that spoon of coleslaw etc while prepping the lunch she had effectively already eaten a full meal worth of calories before sitting down to her lunch! If you don’t weigh foods it’s easy to overestimate how much you are eating.

Are you logging on My Fitness Pal or similar?
What is a typical day of food?
